Characteristics:
Very stately and handsome in form the Turkish Hazel is very tolerant of urban conditions making it an excellent street tree.

Growing Conditions:
Very tolerant to urban conditions. Does not sucker.

Uses:
Small edible nut not suitable for commercial propagation.

More Information:
Native to southeast Europe and southwest Asia, from the Balkans through northern Turkey to northern Iran.
