Friends of Trees' tax-deductible Gift Trees are life-affirming gifts for memorials, births, weddings, anniversaries and other life passages. They make perfect gifts for Portland lovers who live anywhere in the world. Anyone can come visit the Collins Sanctuary where all of our Gift Trees are planted!

For just $35, Friends of Trees will plant a young native tree in honor of the person you choose. For $100, we will plant a grove of six young native trees. Until the end of May, you can even use the discount code SPRINGTREE to receive a 25% discount on your Gift Grove.

Where We Plant Them

All Gift Trees are planted at the Collins Sanctuary near Forest Park in partnership with the Audubon Society of Portland and Metro. Because of the sensitive nature of the site, we can't mark individual trees. But if you join us at one of our two annual Gift Tree plantings, you can plant your trees yourself, and watch them grow over the years!

Memorials

To set up a memorial fund so people can contribute to our tree-planting projects in honor of a loved one, please complete this form or contact Emma Gray at EmmaG@FriendsofTrees.org or 503-467-2531. You can establish either a general memorial fund or a memorial fund that makes it possible for people to buy Gift Trees in someone's name.
