Sponsorship Opportunities

Friends of Trees welcomes sponsors for our 2011-12 planting projects. Our planting calendar lists most of our upcoming Neighborhood Trees plantings scheduled for fall and winter. By the end of August, it will also list our Green Space Initiative plantings.

To sponsor a planting, a business contributes a minimum of $2,500 and receives the following benefits in addition to the satisfaction of improving our environment and building community:

• Company logo on Neighborhood Trees tags with each tree planted.
• Name acknowledgement on the Friends of Trees' community support page and name on two additional pages of Friends of Trees' web site, which receives about 200,000 visits per year.
• Company name on Friends of Trees' printed planting schedule, which is distributed at outreach events throughout the Portland-Vancouver metro area.
• Thank-you in our e-newsletter, TreeMail, which is distributed to over 10,000 people.
• Verbal recognition in opening remarks at the planting event.
• Opportunity for employee involvement in planting event and photos.
• Recognition in press release about the planting.
• Short report after the event describing the project's accomplishments.
• Invitation for two guests to Friends of Trees spring Leadership Awards Luncheon.
• Acknowledgement in Friends of Trees' annual report.

Many businesses choose to sponsor several plantings during a season. In addition, Friends of Trees welcomes a wide range of contributions such as in-kind donations of food and drinks for our planting events.
