Programs

Friends of Trees' programs are dedicated to planting and caring for trees and urban natural areas. Through our Neighborhood Trees program, we organize street tree-planting projects in neighborhoods. Our Natural Area Restoration program restores urban natural areas. In the summer and early fall, we maintain and monitor newly planted trees and shrubs to ensure that they grow to a healthy maturity.

Our thousands of volunteers make our community greener and healthier. There are many ways to care for our urban forest! Everyone is invited to participate.
