Sponsorship Opportunities
Friends of Trees welcomes sponsors for all of our 2008-09 planting projects. Our upcoming planting schedule listing the projects will be posted on our web site in September. Businesses contribute a minimum of $2,500 for a sponsorship.
By sponsoring a planting, your company will receive direct benefits beyond those of improving our environment and building community, including the following publicity:
Recognition in a press release about the planting and in a press
release submitted to the Community Helpers column of The Oregonian.
Logo and link on Friends of Trees' sponsorship page and name on two additional pages of Friends of Trees' web site, which receives more than 75,000 visits per year.
Company name on Friends of Trees' 2007-08 printed planting
schedule, which is distributed at outreach events throughout the Portland-Vancouver metro area.
Company name on the planting schedule and in a separate story in our printed newsletter, Tree Connections, which is distributed to 3,000 people.
Name in thank-you column in e-Tree Connections,
distributed to 4,000 people.
Oral recognition in opening remarks at the planting event.
Opportunity for employee involvement in planting event and
photos.
Short report after the event describing the project's
accomplishments.
If you sponsor a Neighborhood Trees planting, your company logo
will also be printed on attractive tree labels for each tree planted in the sponsored neighborhood on the planting date.
Many businesses choose to sponsor several plantings during a season. Friends of Trees also welcomes a wide range of contributions such as in-kind donations of food and drinks for our planting events.
