There are many opportunities to join Friends of Trees' efforts on behalf of our urban forest. Our urban forest benefits every one by slowing climate change, cleaning our air and water, reducing stormwater runoff, lowering heating and cooling costs, providing habitat for wildlife, and making our cities pleasant and beautiful places to live, work and play. But our urban forest requires active public stewardship in order to flourish.
