Be a Leader
A recent survey showed that people who plant with us love our crew leaders. Crew leaders guide small groups of planters at our events. Every November Friends of Trees offers a crew leader training for each of our planting programs. Check this page in September for our next trainings.
Our Neighborhood Trees program also relies on special leaders who attend our summer neighborhood coordinator training. By working with a team of volunteers to organize their neighborhood plantings, they help homeowners buy trees and make planting day fun. Our next neighborhood coordinator training will be posted here in the spring.
Our summer inspector volunteers check on all our street and yard trees the summer after they were planted. The next training will be posted here in early spring.
