Dedicate a Gift Tree

photo: Keith NevisonCelebrate Mother's Day or other special occasions and the people you love by dedicating Gift Trees in their name. Your green gift will grow over time and leave a legacy for future generations. Gift Trees also make meaningful memorial gifts.

Friends of Trees will plant a Gift Tree for a tax-deductible donation of $35 or a Gift Grove of six trees for a tax-deductible donation of $100. We'll also send a personalized gift card to the person you're honoring.

All Gift Trees are planted at the Collins Sanctuary near Forest Park in partnership with the Audubon Society of Portland and Metro. Because of the sensitive nature of the site, we can't mark individual trees, but if you join us at one of our Gift Tree plantings, you can plant your trees yourself and watch them grow over the years.

Memorials

To set up a memorial fund so people can contribute to our tree-planting projects in honor of a loved one, please complete this form or contact Blair McMillan at BlairM@FriendsofTrees.org or 503-467-2531. You can establish either a general memorial fund or a memorial fund that makes it possible for people to buy Gift Trees in someone's name.
