Gift Tree Planting, December 14, 2008, Inkster Natural Area, Sherwood

We invite all people who purchased gift trees or groves and all who received gift trees or groves to attend our December 14, 2008 Gift Tree planting at Inkster Natural Area.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Melissa Barber by e-mail or by calling 503-282-8846 ext. 23. Space is limited to the first 150 people who RSVP with Melissa Barber.

Directions to the Inkster Natural Area:
From Portland, head south on I-5. Take exit 289 Tualatin-Sherwood Road West toward Sherwood. Make a left onto Highway 99, then a left onto SW Sunset Boulevard. Take a right on SW Timbrel Lane. Turn left at SW Middleton Road. Turn left at SW Inkster Drive. Park near the intersection of SW Inkster and Sanders Terrace.
Look for the sandwich boards with the Friends of Trees logo.
Highway 99W can be accessed from I-5 or Highway 217.

Neighborhood Trees Slide Show, January 8, 2009, 7 pm

Friends of Trees will be offering a slide show about the neighborhood trees that we are offering for the 2008-09 season. Jim Gersbach, an expert on trees and a long time Friends of Trees volunteer, will help you decide what tree is right for you.

The slide show will start at 7 pm on Thursday, January 8, 2009. It will be held in the Community Education Room at 4726 N Trenton in Portland. For more information, contact Cain at 503-282-8846 x13, or caina@friendsoftrees.org.
